This is a key role in ensuring all Group Companies comply with all legal and regulatory requirements.
3. Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs.
Monitor and review company policies, operations and contracts to ensure adherence to policies, laws, and regulations.
Provide advice on compliance-related issues and act as a resource for staff.
Conduct audits and risk assessments to identify potential compliance risks.
Prepare and submit compliance reports to the Group General Counsel, management or regulatory bodies.
Train staff on compliance policies, ethics, and legal requirements.
Investigate and resolve compliance issues or violations or any notices received under any of the MSG Group’s Policies, such as the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics or the Whistleblowing Policy
Liaise with regulators, auditors, and other external stakeholders as needed.
Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure the company’s practices are aligned with changes in the law.
Maintain accurate compliance records and documentation.
4. Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (Master’s or professional certifications like CCO, CRISC, or CAMS may be preferred). MSG is open to providing support and training as required for the right applicant.
Experience: Previous experience in a compliance role, ideally within the manufacturing and/or telecoms industry.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of industry regulations, legal requirements, and standards as they apply to companies within the MSG Group and understanding of the global equivalents.
