Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team.
The Driver will be responsible for safely transporting employees, goods, and materials to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to all traffic and safety regulations.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong driving skills, a commitment to safety, and a good level of English proficiency.
Most trips will be within the UAE, from Dubai to other emirates such as Fujairah or similar.
Job Responsibilities
As a Driver, your responsibilities will include:
- Safely operating company vehicles to transport employees, goods, and materials to designated locations.
- Loading and unloading goods and materials onto and from the vehicle.
- Planning and following the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
- Ensuring the security and integrity of the passengers and/or cargo during transportation.
- Performing routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any issues to management.
- Adhering to all traffic laws, regulations, and safety standards at all times.
- Maintaining accurate records of vehicle mileage, deliveries, and other relevant information.
- Communicating effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and other team members.
- Providing excellent customer service to the passengers during deliveries.
Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Hold a valid driver's license appropriate for conventional passenger vehicles (Category 3 Driving License - Light Vehicle).
- Have a clean driving record with no history of traffic violations or accidents.
- Possess excellent driving skills and knowledge of local roads and routes.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Be physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy objects.
- Prior experience as a driver or delivery driver is preferred.
- Have a good level of English proficiency to communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions.
