Our Employee Restaurant provides an essential space for our dedicated team to enjoy nourishing and delicious meals in a comfortable environment.
We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Commis Chef to join our culinary team at the Employee Restaurant. As a Commis Chef, you will prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals to our staff, ensuring both taste and presentation meet the high standards we strive for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals for the employee restaurant in accordance with Hyatt’s standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures in accordance with local regulations.
- Ensure food is prepared and presented according to the restaurant’s guidelines.
- Work efficiently as part of a team, collaborating with chefs and kitchen staff to provide excellent service to our employees.
- Assist with inventory management and ensure that kitchen supplies are replenished.
- Support senior chefs in daily tasks and work in a disciplined manner.
- Demonstrate a passion for culinary arts and a strong desire to learn and grow within the kitchen.

- Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar entry-level culinary position is preferred.
- A passion for cooking and food.
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and techniques.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
