Job Description:

Lavash is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team at our new Dubai Marina location. The Line Chef will be responsible for preparing dishes according to our menu specifications, ensuring high standards of food quality, and maintaining an organized, efficient work environment. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about food, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation & Cooking:
  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with Lavash’s recipes and presentation standards.
  • Set up and stock your workstation with all necessary supplies and ingredients before service begins.
  • Ensure that each dish is prepared and plated according to the menu, paying attention to portion control, taste, and presentation.
  • Station Management:
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
  • Ensure all food is stored, prepared, and served at the correct temperatures.
  • Communicate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and proper timing of dishes.
  • Quality Control:
  • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency with Lavash’s standards.
  • Assist with the cleaning, sanitizing, and maintenance of kitchen equipment.
  • Handle food items with care to minimize waste and maintain cost control.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations during busy service times.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior staff when necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Health & Safety:
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards, including HACCP protocols.
  • Ensure proper use and storage of kitchen equipment and supplies.
  • Report any kitchen equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the Head Chef.
