The InterContinental Hotels Group® at Dubai Festival City consists of four hotels. These include the luxury and lifestyle brand InterContinental, the lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the premium Crowne Plaza, and the essentials Holiday Inn & Suites. In addition to over 1,600 rooms, the cluster boasts a selection of 16 restaurants and bars, an impressive 3,800-square-metre Event Centre across two levels, the 5,000-square-metre Festival Arena by InterContinental, the luxurious Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gym and swimming pool facilities. A little taste of your day-to-day

• Preparing all mise-en-place for day-to-day operations.
• Preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Ensuring the highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation, staying up to date with new products, recipes, and preparation techniques.
• Maintaining a healthy and hygienic workplace.
• Maintaining proper grooming and a professional appearance.
• Communicating politely and displaying courtesy to guests and colleagues.
• Communicating with your superior if there are any difficulties with guests, internal customer comments, or other relevant information.
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues.
• Attending and participating in daily briefings and other scheduled meetings.
• Attending and participating in scheduled training sessions.
• Preparing in advance the food, beverages, materials, and equipment needed for service.
• Your responsibilities will include following hotel and department regulations, policies, and procedures, such as:
  • House Rules and Regulations
  • Health and Safety
  • Grooming
  • Quality
  • Hygiene and Cleanliness
• Performing related duties and special projects as assigned.

What we need from you

• Experience in a luxury restaurant or 5* hotel environment.
• Good  communication skills.
• Committed to delivering high-quality food.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
• Strong team player with attention to detail.
