Commercial & Procurement Administrator

Your Opportunity  


We are looking for a Commercial & Procurement Administrator who will be responsible for providing P2P, operational and reporting support to the ME Commercial and Procurement function. The role is responsible for management of ME Buying Support tickets (including management of received tickets and distribution to relevant team members and process owners), supporting commercial and procurement performance reporting.   


The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, organizational skills including: record keeping, document management and data management


This role will be based in our Dubai Head office and will be working closely with:


    • Serco’s Contract Management Teams – mainly finance and procurement professionals
    • Global Procurement team and P2P community
    • Serco existing and prospective suppliers.

Key Accountabilities 


  • Commercial and Procurement point of contact: be the first line in day-to-day business and supplier enquiries point of contact, respond to received enquiries or direct to relevant team members
  • Document Management System:  responsible for the maintenance of the functional folder structure, organizing filing of functional procedures, guidelines toolkits, reports, registers etc, conducts regular documents and records audit
  • P2P process: P2P process management and compliance: liaise with regional stakeholders’ colleagues in other regions to support the consistency of the procurement processes and sharing best practices, provide recommendations for opportunities for continuous improvement in P2P processes and services
  • Supplier and client contracts management: Assist with contracts registers maintenance and manage all associated contracts status reporting
  • Stakeholder Relationships: build and maintain positive and collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including commercial, contracts, legal, and procurement functions, as well as key customers.

Specific Requirements 


  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial / finance / procurement roles and total of 5 professional experience
  • Ideally a degree holder any related discipline. 
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in GCC
  • Good knowledge of ERP systems (SAP , Oracle etc)
  • Good analytical skills, able to analyze, organize data and develop reports
  • Good knowledge of finance and P2P process
  • Excellent organizational skills including: record keeping, document management, data management
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Languages – excellent  English, Arabic/Hindi/Urdu would be beneficial
