Role Purpose
The Commercial Analyst is an essential part of the Revenue and Commercial team. You will be responsible for deriving data-driven insights to help guide commercial strategy for all hotels in Middle East, Africa and South West Asia. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to grow in this field.
As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving analyses to help identify key drivers of revenue performance.
Key Accountabilities
Support Regional Revenue lead to develop and implement strategies to ensure revenue and room night sales goals are achieved. Data analysis of past and future room data, producing reporting, forecasts and commentary as required. Providing analytical support for decision making in all revenue generating departments including Sales and Marketing, Rooms, Catering and Food & Beverage. Track and establish pick up trends, occupancy history and market segment development to facilitate forecasting Help team to prepare weekly, monthly hotel revenue meeting and Monthly regional revenue forum with DOR IMEA, on top of ad hoc reporting or tasks.
Key Skills & Experiences
Required Skills –
Analytical aptitude and Collaborative Attitude, Advanced use of Excel, Databases, Pivot Table, PowerPoint preferred. Proficient use of database & statistical analysis software that support quantitative analysis. Good at both oral & written English
Qualifications –
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, preferred.
Experience –
0-1 year of experience in analytics or revenue management related position.
