The Cluster Sales Manager is responsible to implement a successful solicitation strategy to targeted clients for Corporate segments in order to exceed the revenue goals. Overseeing the Local as well as RFP accounts and working with the team to succeed on pre-determined goals. Develop the new & maintain existing clients and improving the quality and efficiency of services while maintaining hotel standards.
- The Cluster Sales Manager - Corporate is responsible for overseeing the FIT, Long stays, Groups & Staycae segment and working towards the hotel to succeed on pre-determined goals.
- Supervises and supports the Sales Executives to deliver standard services to our customer and achieve our financial goals
- Joint call/meetings with General Managers to guarantee the success of all account especially high-revenue generating ones and repeat clients
- Get involved with the negotiations for groups and events to maximize the results
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
- Promote the hotel facilities and services to generate incremental revenue from the groups and events
- Have a healthy knowledge on hotel competition
- Languages: Fluent in English
- Ensure to know the whole process of RFP submission
- Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales solicitation, telephone, written communication.
- Cultivate and develop new business relationships through key sales activities.
- Maintain a close working relationship with clients
- Keep a pleasant work environment and good communication in the department and with the other departments in the hotel to ensure compliance with Brand Standards and ensuring guest satisfaction
- Identifies operational challenges associated and determines how to best work with the property staff and customer to solve these challenges and/or develop alternative solutions.
- Participates in customer site inspections and assists with the sales process as necessary
- Solicits feedback from the property departments to identify areas for improvement to enhance the internal process and guest experience
- Interacts with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.
- Closely follows up on all business leads within a 24 hour response timeline to clients.
- Communicating client requirements in a timely and accurate manner to all internal departments as required, ensuring delivery of superior guest service.
- Ensure accurate follow up and communication both internally to reservations and accounting departments, and confirmation to client.
