now for the position of Closing and Reporting Specialist to join our
teambased in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Your role:
- Provide
guidance in accordance with Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines (SFRGs) and
IFRS.
- Collaborate
with the business units and functional groups on a broad spectrum providing
technical accounting guidance and oversight for significant and complex
accounting and reporting topics.
- Review
and approve complex journal entries and account reconciliations to ensure
transactions are recorded in conformance with SFRGs, Siemens International
Chart of Accounts and adequate internal controls are in place as per RIC
requirements.
- Ensure
accuracy of books and record by analyzing and reviewing financial statements as
well as drive balance sheet review process and provide remediation and
solution.
- Responsible
for resolving reporting and closing queries and develop controls to avoid
repeated issues.
- Supporting
countries in data cleansing and data migration activities in our new P58 SAP
System.
- Perform
month end closing and reporting tasks (SAP and ESPRIT). Execute closing
programs and reports using SAP/Runbook (automated closing and reporting
process).
- Exceptional
understanding of the Siemens Chart of Account, Development Codes, ICC
transactions and various consolidation parameters.
- Perform
quarterly ADSTAR reporting (Financial reporting disclosures)
- Responsible
for the preparation of local statutory financial statements as well as tax
returns (Corporate Tax, VAT, WHT etc.).
- Support
quarterly and yearly external audit process by providing timely information and
resolve queries from auditor
- Support
the supervise and development of team members and elevate their skillset in
order to address future Accounting and Finance challenge.
Your qualifications and experience:
- Qualified
Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualification from reputable institution
- Strong
SAP knowledge and experience in FICO and COPA modules; ESPRIT and ADSTAR
reporting tools
- Proven
track record of relevant experience in public and non-public (Big 4 and
industry Fortune 500)
- Excellent
communication
- Expertise
in ERM and internal controls
- Strong
analytical and critical thinking skills and impeccable attention to details
- Strong
problem-solving skills and the proven ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
- Previous
experience and responsibility in similar setup.
