MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB Monitor the quality and compliance of clinical documentation and coding regulations to prevent risk for the company
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Ensures an inpatient and outpatient audit plan is in place for all the MCME Units
- Develops the training and educational program and provide/arrange periodic trainings
- Deliver information related to coding guidelines by regulatory bodies, DRG, clinical documentation, and CDI newsletters to all the MCME Units
- Support the clinical and funder relation department with utilisation reporting activities
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in medicine/ nursing
- Certified Clinical Coder / Auditor
- Coding Certification from AAPC or AHIMA
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 3 years DRG coding experience in a hospital environment
- Experience managing or leading a team
