Clinical Dietitian
Please wait... MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB
To provide appropriate professional medical nutrition therapy and counselling to inpatients, outpatients and family members to ensure that the health needs of patients are cared for and improve lifestyles.
To ensure patient safety and quality by monitoring food service operations to ensure compliance with nutritional and sanitation standards.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
Essential: Bachelors Degree in Nutritional Sciences or Dietetics
DHA license or eligibility as Clinical Dietitian
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
Essential: At least 2 years’ experience as a licensed Dietician
Desired: At least 2 years’ experience as a licensed Dietician in the UAE within an acute care facility (hospital experience preferred)
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with different stakeholders in the organisation Verbal and written communication skills in English Design and implementation of educational programmes Knowledge and understanding of food service operations, including food preparation, sanitation and procurement Plan and deliver healthy menus
