Title: Climate Response Advisory Leader - Director Level Location: Middle East (Flexible across key client locations and Jacobs operating offices)

We are excited to announce a career opportunity as
Climate Response Advisory Leader within Jacobs' Advisory Unit in the Middle East. This is a leadership role focused on providing consulting and advisory sustainability services to Jacobs’ key clients at both their enterprise/group level and also within their major projects and programmes.
A minimum of 15 years of post-graduate experience, with at least five years in a leadership capacity delivering corporate sustainability services such as sustainability and climate action strategies, implementation plans, execution, performance management, and reporting. A strong understanding of the rapidly evolving ESG landscape and associated frameworks is required. Tangible examples of supporting clients in future-proofing their organizations are critical. Shape delivery strategy and monitor project progress to ensure business and client expectations are achieved. Effectively communicate findings and recommendations or facilitate engagement with senior leadership in industry and government.
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree (Master’s or higher preferred) in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, Urban Planning, or a related field.
Professional Recognition:
Full Chartered Membership (or Fellow) status with reputable Environment and Sustainability related Professional Bodies (e.g., IEMA/ISEP, CIWEM, ICE, RICS) coupled with active participation within professional networks. Commitment to continuous professional learning and development on relevant topics such as sustainable development, certifications (e.g., LEED, MOSTADAM), corporate sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, TC/NFD, CSRD), and sustainable finance. Active support for the development of emerging talent will be highly regarded.
Delivery Leadership:
Sectoral Experience: Experience across a diverse set of sectors is welcome, with particular emphasis on consulting for built environment-related sectors (e.g., land development, major infrastructure, energy and power, advanced facilities like pharmaceuticals and data centers, and transport). Preference will be given to candidates with experience in recognizable organizations, including mature organizations (e.g., publicly listed companies or those with annual turnovers exceeding $1bn USD), sustainability leaders within their sectors, or emerging organizations where the candidate has played a critical role in implementing sustainability systems in line with best practices, preferably for clients in relevant sectors.
Portfolio Growth and Management:
Development of a clear plan aligned to organizational growth strategy, tailored to market dynamics, regional requirements, and client needs. High degree of client trust and ability to be seen as the 'go to' person for their biggest changes. Ability to shape discrete projects, often together with client, and ability to provide differentiated and competitive solutions. Measurable outcomes linked to new and repeat business.
Leadership and Management:
Providing clear direction to individuals or teams aligned with corporate culture and Service Line business objectives. Demonstrating a commitment to professional development aspirations and the individual requirements of team members. Direct line management accountability, with experience in utilization and performance management, will be highly regarded.
