Job Description

The Civil Job Performer role in the Oil & Gas industry is a vital position that focuses on executing civil engineering tasks and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a keen understanding of safety regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various civil works, including site preparation, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure. This position is crucial for maintaining the integrity of projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards.


Responsibilities:

  1. Execute civil engineering tasks in accordance with project specifications and timelines.
  2. Conduct site assessments to evaluate project feasibility and safety requirements.
  3. Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to develop project plans and schedules.
  4. Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  5. Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of project progress, including reports and logs.
  6. Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  7. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during the construction process.
  8. Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost estimates for civil projects.
  9. Participate in regular project meetings to discuss progress and address any concerns.
  10. Ensure that all civil works are completed within the allocated budget and timeframe.

  3. Proven experience in civil engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.

  8. Willingness to adapt to changing project requirements.
  9. Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards.

Skills


  • Strong understanding of construction methods and materials.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teams.
  • Experience in conducting site inspections and assessments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).


  • WMS Training Certificate,
  • Two years of minimum experience in respective trade (for Engineers) (ADNOC approval preferred)
  • 3 years of minimum experience for Non-Engineering Graduates (e.g. Science graduates/Relevant discipline) and Diploma holders in Engineering Disciplines (e.g. Civil, Mechanical, E&I etc.)


Work Location: The positions are based in Habshan and Bu Hasa, both major oil and gas facilities in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
