Civil Engineer (Water Infrastructure)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing various civil engineering projects, ensuring their successful completion within budget and on schedule. Your expertise in planning, designing, and implementing construction projects will be essential in delivering high-quality and sustainable solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to develop project plans and strategies.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and assess project feasibility.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and other project documents.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring adherence to client requirements and company standards.
- Oversee the construction process and provide technical support to contractors and other project stakeholders.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure project compliance with design standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with local authorities and obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project managers and clients.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement measures to mitigate potential hazards.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians.


Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 -10 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably in the UAE.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and techniques.
- Proficiency in using design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Fluency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
