Job Description
A UAE government institution is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join its dynamic team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of various building structures and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of civil engineering projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections and assessments to guarantee compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for civil engineering projects, providing accurate and comprehensive documentation.
- Efficiently manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
- Collaborate effectively with architects, contractors, and other engineering professionals to foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during construction, implementing effective solutions to maintain project progress.
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with relevant local and national regulations, codes, and standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation and reports, providing essential information for stakeholders.
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Civil Engineer, with a preference for experience in the government or public sector.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and relevant legal regulations.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of identifying and resolving complex engineering challenges.
