Job Description
- Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other drafting software.
- Prepare civil, structural, and architectural drawings for oil & gas projects, including foundations, pipelines, roads, and plant layouts.
- Interpret and translate engineering sketches, designs, and specifications into technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements (such as ADNOC, Aramco, or other regulatory standards).
- Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other disciplines to ensure accurate and efficient design execution.
- Revise and update drawings as required based on feedback from engineers and construction teams.
- Maintain document control for all drawings and ensure proper versioning and approval.
- Assist in preparing material take-offs (MTOs) and construction documentation.
- Support site teams by providing as-built drawings after project completion.
Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other drafting software.
- Experience in oil & gas industry projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles, especially for oil & gas infrastructure.
- Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ASTM, ACI, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
