Job Description

KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES# Provide specialized field experience and support to achieve the underlying objectives of the application ofcorporate governance best practices.# Review and develop a deep understanding of the RTA core business strategy in order to ensure that theresources are aligned with organizational goals and objectives for smooth business strategy implementation.# Develop and maintain benchmarking framework and establish strong relation with benchmarking partnersthrough conducting field visits and adopt the best practices and cultural environment in reference to RTAneeds and environment.# Identify and prepare terms of reference (TOR) for potential development projects in accordance to therecognized international standards and excellence framework.# Develop governance plans, policies, frameworks, methodologies in accordance with the global best practices,standards, and RTA’s strategy and plans.# Advice on governance initiatives projects to raise the degree of awareness and maturity within RTA to the bestfit of institutional governance maturity models and in accordance with the international best practices.# Review, on an ongoing basis, internal programs and processes to identify areas where there may be barriers toa successful work culture or to the existing processes.# Develop and maintain Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the provided services and correlated to RTAobjectives, approved policy and model.# Advice in aligning corporate strategy with corporate governance initiatives, business processes, objectives,through analyzing, interpreting business requirements and advising in development of the optimizedbusiness processes, improvement framework in full alliance with the strategic directions and related laws andregulations.# Advise in alignment of the organizational development opportunities with Strategic directions of the wholeorganization based on sound analysis of internal strengths, weaknesses and with consideration of externalopportunities and threats.# Develop, enhance and maintain governance standards concerning the systems/applications that support thearea functional teams and contribute to the area of business process management teams.# Mentor the development projects, in reference to the defined business needs and international standards.# Participate in preparation on the development & improvement plans to enhance and improve businessperformance and level of customer satisfaction.# Review and analyze the assessment results and define the potential areas of improvement in conjunction withthe business and market needs towards increasing customer satisfaction.# Define core competency development and facilitate new standards and means of work that necessary tosupport RTA agencies and departments.# Provide necessary support to all RTA Agencies and Departments by conducting effective analysis andassessment as needed.# Identify gaps between the current cultural environment and the environment needed for successfulimplementation of the business strategy in terms of improvement framework, processes and knowledgetransfer.# Design and articulate the corporate & high level processes (Value add chain diagram) to RTA mission andstrategy, and ensure correct deployment and cascading all the way through to operational level.# Advise in Alignment and development of strategy and key results areas at organizational level, across andbetween functions and cascade down to the operational levels.# Develop, review and maintain the governance framework models, which define, regulate and govern therelationship and level of provided service between RTA and its Agencies in accordance to the international bestpractices and the strategic directions.# Identify and articulate the type of working culture that is necessary to have a barrier-free environment in sucha way to ensure facilitate implementation of the intended strategy.# Identify key performance indicators for business processes that guarantee achievement of highest businessperformance and business objectives delivery.# Develop and conduct diagnostic organizational assessment tools and processes that measure the corporategovernance adequacy and internal work culture within RTA with the goal of assessing whether or not theexisting environment is aligned with the needs-based articulated model.# Review and maintain the authority delegation manual, and ensure full alliance and compliance with regulations,policies, governance framework and defined roles and responsibilities at RTA.# Perform other related responsibilities related to the position as appropriate


Education# Master Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Corporate Governance, or management from arecognized University.Skills# Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a large and active service organization.# Certification in Governance, risk and compliance (GRC), Project Management Institute-Risk ManagementProfessional (PMI-RMP), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA), PMP, and/or CIA certificatesare highly desirable.# Knowledge of Kings Code, OECD governance aspects, and other governance maturity models.
