JOB PURPOSE
The Chief Photographer is responsible for attending events, conferences and other functions to take photos of Leadership as requested.He/she is responsible for being able to successfully navigate through the events, conference and functions and capture high quality photos to be used across social media, websites and news, as planned by the Private Content Planning team and/or the Strategic Relations team.The Chief Photographer is also responsible for ensuring the continuous growth of high quality photos in the Private Archive.The role holder is expected to demonstrate strong teamwork skills and carry out his/her duties in accordance with the relevant business policies and procedures.

Key Accountabilities
General Responsibilities
·Attend events, conferences and other functions to take photos of Leadership as requested
·Work closely with Private Content Planning team to ensure photos are captured for use across social media and website, taking into account both quality and quantity
·Work closely with the News Center Manager and Editor to ensure photos for news content releases are captured, taking into account both quality and quantity
·Provide metrics and supporting documents to the News Center Head, to support with the monthly KPI reports
Photography Activities
·Capture photos from events, conferences and other functions for use in print news, taking into account print-specific requirements and specifications
·Capture photos from events, conferences and other functions for use across social media, taking into account platform specific requirements and specifications
·Capture photos from events, conferences and other functions for use across website, taking into account website-specific requirements and specifications
·Share photos with the Strategic Relations team for use in news content releases, social media and websites
·Share all raw photos with the Private Archive and MCR team for tagging and archiving purposes
·Share photos, as required, with the Montage and Photo Executive, for the production of audio-visual collateral
Miscellaneous
·Maintain all photography equipment, ensuring repairs are done in a timely manner and all equipment is stored and transported safely and securely
·Research and stay up-to-date with current photography trends and techniques
·Work collaboratively with the videographer(s), the Administration Executive, the Montage and Photo Executive, the Editor, and the Private SM and Website Executive to ensure that all required photography content is planned, captured and shared in a timely manner
Key Interactions & Nature of Interaction
Internal:
·Work closely with Private Content Planning team to ensure photos are captured as needed
·Work closely with other members across the News Center team to align and deliver content efficiently and effectively
External:
·Work closely with event, conference and other function organizers to ensure smooth access to fulfil the job role
Experience Required
·A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
·A minimum of 3 years working in a team
Education and Qualification Required
·Bachelor’s degree in photography, journalism, photojournalism, or a related field
