A leading classifieds vertical in the Mena Region, is seeking a COO to power its phenomenal growth into the future. This is a unique opportunity to spearhead one of the fastest growing portals in the region.

As the COO you will be responsible for creating and implementing the business strategy and taking full ownership of the business outcomes. You will
STRATEGIZE: Participate in setting companywide Revenue generating strategy to achieve company's Vision. In particular develop strategy and tactics for each of: HR, Marketing, Sales, Technology, Product, Operations, Finance.
PLAN, BUDGET, DOCUMENT: Translate the strategies into specific, measurable, executable, realistic, and timely plans. These should include revenue and expense projections and the method to achieve them.
HIRE, TRAIN & MENTOR: Take a leadership role in attracting and retaining a group of A players
SET SMART OBJECTIVES, MONITOR PERFORMANCE, MAINTAIN ACCOUNTABILITY, & DELIVER RESULTS: Coordinate and manage resources and teams so that planned outcomes are exceeded
LEARN , ASSESS, & INNOVATE: Continually be building global best of class products and services
You will report to the CEO of the Company.
Proven experience in a leadership role in General Management, Sales, Marketing, or Product in an established business
Extensive experience in managing online operations (product, marketing, community building, etc.)
Prior experience in the classifieds business, preferably the auto industry is an advantage
Being passionate about cars and having superior knowledge of cars is a plus
Must be a critical thinker and possess superior analytical skills
Able to think out of the box and come up with innovative techniques and solutions
Must possess superior interpersonal skills with the ability to build, lead and manage a team
MBAs and / or Engineering Degrees are preferred
