We are seeking a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to drive digital transformation initiatives and oversee technology strategy at a leading financial institution in the region. This pivotal role is responsible for aligning technology with business objectives and managing a large team to enhance operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the bank’s technology strategy to support business goals.
- Lead a team of over 450 professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Oversee cloud initiatives and drive digital transformation projects across the organization.
- Identify and implement emerging technology trends that can create new business models.
- Collaborate with senior management to ensure technology investments deliver optimal value.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize service delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Candidates with global experience focusing on the Central European region.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced certifications in technology or management are a plus.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on IT leadership.
- Proven experience managing large teams, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong background in cloud technologies, digital transformation, and technology trends.
- Excellent communication and strategic thinking skills.
