# Liaise with other Agencies and Departments in Roads & Transport Authority for successful planning and
designing for Metro bus integration project.
# Monitor the performance of the bus network, evaluate deficiencies and propose solutions by considering cost
benefit analysis.
# Evaluate the passenger demand on the existing network as well as from new developments: this will include
conducting field surveys and collection of data from various Authorities, Agencies and property developers.
# Perform other related duties as assigned
# Examine road network and bus stop availability for the planned routes through site visits. Also examine road
traffic conditions and signal phasing’s while designing any bus route.
# Support strategic planning team in planning and designing a bus network for base and horizon years.
# Develop bus network plans that reflect the strategic objectives of Public Transport Agency including seamless
integration with other transit modes.
# Develop plans for emergency operation scenarios of Rail/Tram/Marine failure and temporary diversion of bus
network due to any construction activities or any unforeseen circumstances.
# Examine the Traffic Impact Studies and RoWPS applications sent to PTA for its recommendation/ approval in
the interest of public bus operations and bus network. Liaise with other agencies, contractors and developers
in processing the applications.
# Oversee evaluation of requests for new and alternative service and service changes from the customers,
developers, PTA staff and other stakeholders.
# Coordinate with managers, staff, and representatives regarding the provision of services .
Education
# Bachelor degree in civil Engineering or transportation planning from a recognized university. Preferred Master
Degree in Transport Planning
