Our client, is a renowned international real estate developer headquartered in Dubai, known for its commitment to innovation and excellence in creating high-end destinations that redefine luxury living.As a Chief Accountant at our client’s esteemed organization, you will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting and accounting functions. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, managing financial statements, and leading budget preparation and cash flow management. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in optimizing financial controls, implementing effective accounting strategies, and driving financial performance improvements, all of which are vital to supporting the organization's strategic goals and long-term success.
Responsibilities:
·Building the accounting and tax accounting function from scratch in full
for all companies of the Group ·Control of accounting by an outsourcing company until the transfer of
accounting in-house ·Carrying out mandatory procedures for closing the month ·Preparation of accounting statements, transcripts and explanations to
them ·Analysis and maintenance of intra-group agreements and settlements,
assessment of tax consequences ·Organization of control of settlements with debtors, creditors and banks ·Coordination and analysis of concluded contracts with external
contractors, assessment of tax risks ·Reconciliation of payments from the point of view of accounting and tax
accounting ·Passing audits and inspections of tax authorities ·Formation and submission of tax reports (VAT, income tax) ·VAT refund ·Tax planning and budgeting ·Formation and timely updating of accounting and tax accounting policies ·Participation in automation of accounting and tax accounting based on 1C
Requirements ·Higher education in Accounting/Finance ·Professional profile experience of at least 5 years, excellent
understanding, knowledge and accounting ·Proven knowledge of the specifics of IFRS, local accounting and tax
reporting in the UAE ·Work experience in a real estate development company in the UAE ·Experience of interaction with tax authorities in the UAE ·ACCA (preferably) ·Knowledge of 1C Accounting 8.3 (preferably)
