Job Summary:
The Chef de Partie – Western Cuisine is responsible for overseeing the preparation and cooking of high-quality Western dishes within the kitchen. This role requires expertise in various cooking techniques, a strong understanding of Western cuisine, and a passion for creating exceptional dishes. The Chef de Partie will supervise a team of junior chefs, ensure that food standards are met consistently, and maintain a clean, organized kitchen. This role works closely with other team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, specifically with Western cuisine, in a 4-star hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Formal culinary training or a relevant qualification from a recognized institution.
- Strong knowledge of Western cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage junior kitchen staff.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality food standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment.
- A passion for creativity and innovation in Western culinary trends.
