Are you a skilled and creative chef with a passion for Pan Asian cuisine? InterContinental Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Chef de Partie to join our talented kitchen team. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, particularly in Pan Asian dishes, while working in a prestigious, luxury hotel setting.As a Chef de Partie (Pan Asian Cuisine), you will play a vital role in leading the preparation and execution of exquisite dishes from across the diverse cuisines of Asia, including Thai, Japanese, Chinese, and other regional flavors. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene while maintaining a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.A little taste of your day-to-day:Every day is different, but you’ll mostly do: Prepare and cook authentic Pan Asian dishes, including appetizers, mains, and desserts, ensuring consistency and excellence. Lead and mentor junior kitchen staff, ensuring they are trained on food preparation techniques and kitchen safety. Manage your section of the kitchen, ensuring it runs efficiently and all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards. Supervise daily mise en place, ensuring all ingredients and garnishes are prepared and ready for service. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards. Assist in the development and execution of new menu items, incorporating seasonal ingredients and creative ideas. Monitor stock levels, order ingredients, and contribute to inventory management and stock rotation. Collaborate with the team to ensure that all food served meets the high standards of presentation, taste, and quality expected by InterContinental.What we need from you: Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in Pan Asian cuisine, preferably within a hotel or fine dining environment. Skills: In-depth knowledge of Pan Asian cooking techniques and ingredients. Strong leadership skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
