As a Chef de Partie at Kitopi, you will play a crucial role in creating high-quality dishes that delight our customers. You will oversee a specific section of the kitchen, maintain consistency in food preparation, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the culinary team.
What You'll Do?
- Prepare and present dishes in your designated kitchen section according to Kitopi’s standards.
- Assist the Area Kitchen Manager in ensuring smooth daily operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety in your work area, adhering to hygiene protocols.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, order supplies, and minimize waste using the FIFO system.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to maintain consistency in quality and service.
- Participate in daily briefings, sharing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Stay updated on all menu items, daily specials, and guest preferences.
- Support other sections of the kitchen when needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Uphold personal hygiene and professional appearance, reflecting Kitopi’s commitment to excellence.
What Are We Looking For?
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Positive, adaptable, and team-oriented, with strong multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
