We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef Cook to join our kitchen team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will specialize in preparing traditional Tunisian dishes, with a focus on creating authentic, flavorful meals. This is a live-in position, offering the opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant culture and cuisine of Tunisia while working in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook traditional Tunisian meals, with a particular focus on dishes from Tunis.
- Ensure all food is of the highest quality, presented beautifully, and consistently meets company standards.
- Manage kitchen inventory and ensure all ingredients are fresh and of excellent quality.
- Follow recipes precisely, with the ability to adapt them to individual preferences when needed.
- Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times.
- Oversee the entire food preparation and cooking process, from start to finish.
- Assist with menu planning, offering innovative ideas for new Tunisian-inspired dishes.
- Follow food safety regulations and ensure that all meals are prepared in compliance with health standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef, with expertise in Tunisian or North African cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols and kitchen hygiene standards.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, live-in environment.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts, with a dedication to high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Willingness to live and work in Dubai.

1. Culinary Expertise in Tunisian Cuisine
- Deep knowledge of traditional Tunisian dishes (such as couscous, brik, lablabi, tajine).
- Familiarity with North African spices and ingredients like harissa, olive oil, saffron, cumin, and coriander.
- Ability to recreate traditional recipes while maintaining authenticity.
2. Food Preparation & Cooking Techniques
- Mastery of various cooking methods (grilling, frying, braising, baking).
- Skilled in seasoning and balancing flavors to create bold, flavorful meals.
- Ability to prepare a wide range of traditional dishes and adapt them based on preferences or dietary restrictions.
3. Food Safety & Hygiene Standards
- Thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.
