As a Cardio-Thoracic Surgeon, you will diagnose and treat complex conditions affecting the heart, lungs, and other thoracic organs. You will perform intricate surgical procedures and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible care for patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients’ histories and perform complete clinical assessments.
- Order and interpret diagnostic imaging and tests to make informed decisions regarding patient care.
- Diagnose and manage a range of thoracic conditions, including congenital defects, trauma, and tumors.
- Perform advanced surgical procedures, including but not limited to coronary artery bypass grafting, valve replacements, and lung resections.
- Stay current with technological advancements and surgical techniques in the field of cardio-thoracic surgery.
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Engage in research opportunities, clinical trials, and provide mentorship to residents and medical students.
