Job Description

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 


          Cake Production


  1. Design and start the cake preparation 
  2. Build, Frost & Decorate all cakes with high quality & consistency standards
  3. Complete the entire cake manufacturing process and make it ready for dispatch 

          Brand Standards and Food safety


  1. To adhere uniform policy in the production area and all the brand standards followed by the company
  2. Ensure the CPU is maintained in accordance with the RETAIL FOOD SAFETY SYSTEM/HACCP standards.
  3. Follow cleaning checklist daily/weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis

          Revenue


  1. To ensure that all cakes are dispatched from the CPU with proper ingredient label & expiration date
  2. To liaise with the supervisor & to ensure all items including Ice Cream & Paper Products are available for the production in the CPU 
  3. Follow the FIFO (first in first out) method in the CPU by keeping a check on expiry date of all stocks
  4. Design and complete the budgeted number of cakes per month as per the production schedule  

Requirements:


  • Culinary diploma (desirable) or high school/secondary 
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar position or in-house cake maker
  • Ability to work in a cold environment
  • Possess creativity, organizational ability, and a good deal of energy
