What You’ll Do


Credit Monitoring


Run the entire process of credit monitoring independently by extracting overdue invoices data from the system, analyse each item while collaborating with other departments, prepare presentation slides and present it in front of the management.


Take proactive approaches to constantly improve the process and propose ideas for improvements.


KYC and Customer List Management


Be responsible for managing the list of 100+ active customers and conduct KYC for new customers. 


Run KYC process independently by acquiring necessary documents & data from potential customers, analyse their financial ratios and other relevant data. Ensure the list of customers are maintained up to date in the system, while proactively tackle potential issues such as data errors by collaborating with numerous internal stakeholders.


Shipping Market Analysis and Intelligence


Develop insightful market analysis reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly) for leadership.


Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and financial metrics such as operational expenditures (OPEX) and drydock costs.


Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to gather data and deliver actionable insights.


Policy and Procedures Development


Create and update policies and procedures across all Bahri Chemicals divisions.


Understand business activities in detail to ensure P&P is aligned with the actual activities and always maintained up to date.


Collaboration and Support


Work alongside team members to address diverse tasks, such as audit support, ad-hoc reporting, and investor relations activities.


Continuously enhance reporting tools and processes based on management feedback.

What We’re Looking For


Qualifications and Experience


Bachelor’s degree in finance / accounting, marine Transportation, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.


4+ years of experience in the chemicals or commercial shipping industry.


Good understanding of finance and accounting.


Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.


Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.


Preferred Skills


Knowledge of market analysis techniques and financial modelling.


Professional certifications in shipping, logistics, or business analysis are a plus.
