Job Description
As a Business Finance Manager, you will lead the assigned Asia Pacific FP&A function providing strategic business partnering support for business leaders to manage the value of their organisation. Through a solid partnership and the credibility to influence, the Business Finance Manager helps identify the key drivers of success and through data and sound business judgement, influence the relevant stakeholders to make the right moves.
In this role, you will:
- Act as a trusted advisor and Business Partner providing support and challenge to senior management team across dnata to help manage the value of their organisation.
- Managing the process to set annual budgets, full year forecasts, mid to long-term plans and target setting across the dnata group.
- Provide advice and consultancy in the development and validation of business cases to support the proposal to invest in new ventures, capital expenditure and large / long-term commercial agreements.
- Ensure business performance is monitored on a periodic basis through relevant reports, KPIs and meetings (e.g. MFR/MBRs), including the identification and delegation of actions across the business to improve future business performance.
- Ensure that an appropriate financial control environment exists in the business to protect the shareholders interest
- Ensure the Corporate Governance Manuals are followed across the entities.
- Lead the development of the finance teams (regardless of reporting line) within the defined business portfolio to ensure a high performing Finance team.
- May be required to become a legal board director on statutory entities ensuring the interests of both the shareholder and the legal entity are prioritised.
- Manage the relationship between the Business and Head Office, also focusing on how skills can be utilised most effectively across the Emirates Group Finance Function.
