About Our Client:
Our client is a prominent fertilizer manufacturing and trading company with a well-established presence in India, Lithuania, and beyond. As part of their expansion into Dubai and their strategic growth in the African market (Kenya, Nigeria, Mozambique), they aim to supply high-quality fertilizers and mineral products to enhance agricultural productivity.
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager with expertise in mineral products, particularly for the oil drilling and industrial sectors. The ideal candidate should have experience in the GCC region and a strong understanding of the oil drilling and water treatment industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the supply of mineral products (e.g., Barite, Bentonite, Industrial Salt) to oil drilling companies.
- Identify new business opportunities and establish strategic partnerships.
- Develop and maintain relationships with oil drilling service providers and key industry stakeholders.
- Analyze market trends and provide strategic insights for business growth.
- Explore opportunities for new products within the mineral and oil industries.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in business development within mineral products, water treatment, or oil drilling supply sectors.
- In-depth knowledge of Barite, Bentonite, Industrial Salt, and their applications in the oil drilling industry.
- Experience in the GCC region with an established network in the oil and water treatment industries.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages would be an advantage.
