Business Development Manager


LexisNexis Position Overview: The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding LexisNexis' customer base across assigned territories and market segments.


About the Role


This role involves identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic sales plans, and building strong relationships with potential clients to promote LexisNexis' suite of legal, regulatory, and business information solutions. Key


Responsibilities


- Prospect and generate new sales leads through targeted outreach, networking, and market research


- Conduct consultative sales meetings to understand client needs and present tailored LexisNexis solutions


- Develop and execute strategic account plans to penetrate key accounts and drive revenue growth


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product specialists and editorial, to deliver comprehensive proposals and presentations


- Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing


- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and revenue goals - Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and LexisNexis product offerings


- Maintain accurate records and forecasts in the company's CRM system


Requirements


- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Law or a related field


- Minimum of 3 years of successful business development or sales experience, preferably in the legal, regulatory, information services, SAAS or AI industry


- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a consultative selling environment


- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills


- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities


- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales productivity tools


- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events


- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently


- Arabic Speaker would be an advantage
