Job Summary:
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth and achieving sales targets within the Dubai and Northern Emirates region. This role requires a strong understanding of the HORECA and Wholesale markets, excellent customer relationship management skills, and the ability to sell a diverse range of products, including dry and frozen foods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Target Achievement:
- Develop and execute sales plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets within the designated region.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the HORECA and Wholesale sectors.
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hotel chains, restaurants, caterers, supermarkets, and distributors.
- Understand customer needs and preferences and provide tailored solutions.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints effectively and efficiently.
- Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence:
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and market developments.
- Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
- Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports on a regular basis.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Team Management
- managing a sales team, provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members.
- Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide feedback.
- Product Knowledge:
- Develop in-depth product knowledge across all product categories, including dry and frozen foods.
- Effectively communicate product features, benefits, and value propositions to customers.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales & Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of successful Frozen OR Dry Foods sales experience in the HORECA or Wholesale industry within the UAE market.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing a sales team.
- Knowledge of local market regulations and industry best practices.
