Job Description

Roles:


• Lead and oversee the development and execution of business growth strategies within the design and build fit-out sector.


• Establish and maintain robust professional relationships with clients, architects, designers, and other key stakeholders in the industry.


• Act as the company's representative at industry events, conferences, and networking meetings, promoting the company’s services and capabilities.


•Collaborate closely with internal teams, including design, project management, marketing, and bid management, to ensure a unified approach to business development and project acquisition.


•Oversee the bid management team, ensuring that all proposals are strategically aligned with the company's business goals and market positioning.


•Develop and refine bid strategies to enhance the company's win rate, leveraging insights from industry trends and competitive analysis.


•Foster a collaborative environment among the bid team, design, construction, and finance departments, ensuring that each proposal is a comprehensive reflection of the company's capabilities.


•Stay informed on industry movements, market demands, and client shifts to adapt bid strategies proactively and maintain a competitive edge.


Responsibilities:


• Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, while staying attuned to industry trends.


• Proactively initiate contact with potential clients, understanding their needs and exploring new business possibilities.


•Lead the development and presentation of compelling proposals, leveraging the expertise of Bid Managers and design teams to effectively communicate the company’s capabilities in design and build fit-out.


•Negotiate contracts and finalize deals that are aligned with the company's strategic objectives and profitability goals. Collaborate with the Commercial and Project Directors during these negotiations to ensure that all aspects of the project, including costs, resources, and timelines, are accurately represented and agreed upon.


•Gather and relay client feedback to internal teams, utilizing these insights to refine services, remain competitive in the market, and inform future strategies.


•Set and monitor sales targets and key performance indicators, providing regular progress reports to senior management and aligning bid management efforts with these targets.


• Lead the management of client relationships throughout the project lifecycle, from initial contact through project delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and fostering repeat business.


• Stay abreast of the latest developments and innovations in the design and build fit-out industry, ensuring that the company's offerings and approaches remain cutting-edge and client-centric.


•By involving the Commercial and Project Directors in the negotiation process, the Pre-Construction Director ensures that all contractual aspects are thoroughly reviewed and aligned with operational capabilities and business objectives. This collaborative approach is crucial for the successful acquisition and execution of projects in the design and build fit-out industry
