JOB PURPOSE
Identify, develop, and maintain business development opportunities with relevant stakeholders, including end users, contractors, as well as industry bodies and associations. Develop and implement winning value-added sales strategies that consolidates FPI’s technical position in the market, builds client confidence and delivers agreed targets and objectives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Market Research and New Trends: Conduct a market analysis to identify growth markets, applications, technologies, and regulations so to assess the potential impact or opportunities within these areas and to develop well-informed strategies and actionable plans to capitalize on these business prospects. The role will encompass tasks related, market expansion lead generation initiatives and risk assessment.
- Commercial activities and new customers: Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing stakeholders, emphasizing relationship building, to effectively leverage the market potential through the development of end user non-metallic specifications.
- Communication and Presentation: Effectively communicate the FPI value proposition of innovation, cutting-edge technology and service in a manner that enables the client to clearly recognise our point of difference within the composite pipe industry.
- Product technical knowledge: Champion training and client engagement initiatives, encompassing presentations and workshops, while delivering technical guidance so to enhance client confidence and drive material conversion opportunities.
- Technical knowledge of industry: Thoroughly comprehend competing technologies and develop compelling arguments and create comprehensive comparative material studies and documentation that effectively drive material conversions.
- Respect Health & Safety, Environmental policies: Understand, implement and follow all of the company commercial and social responsibility polices and ensure the interests of the company are maintained at all times.
