Job Description
Business Intelligence and Planning
- Stay informed about the latest market and industry trends locally and globally and its implications on the company’s growth strategy.
- Competitive Analysis and Benchmarking of similar companies in our industry
- Access to IQVIA and Specialization in Data extraction and presentation
Business Development
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Analyze market data to develop strategic business development plans and initiatives.
- Business Development and Sales:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities to achieve sales targets and expand the company's market presence.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, distributors, regulatory bodies, and industry associations.
- Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Prepare detailed business proposals, presentations, and contracts for potential clients and partners.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to align business development efforts with overall company strategy.
- Coordinate with regulatory and compliance teams to ensure all business activities adhere to industry regulations and standards.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends for senior management.
Maintain accurate records of business development activities, including client interactions, contracts, and agreements.
Qualifications
- University Degree / Diploma in Pharmacy or a related scientific specialty
- Post-Graduate in Marketing / Business Administration
- Post Graduate courses in Project Management
Additional Information
Skills & Professional Requirements
- Well-established network within the UAE / regional pharmaceutical industry.
- Business development experience is a Must.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen.
- Strong Skills with Excel, QlickSense, PowerBI and other analysis tools
- Experience and Proficiency in the use of CRM
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
