Job Summary:
The Business Development Executive (Garments/Uniforms) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding the company’s client base within the garments, uniforms, and workwear sector. This role requires a hands-on approach, involving direct client meetings, market research, and sales presentations. The ideal candidate should have experience in selling garments or corporate uniforms, a strong understanding of the industry, and a valid driving license to facilitate business visits and networking activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the garments, uniforms, and workwear sectors. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and customer satisfaction.
- Sales Strategy: Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create strategies and proposals for new business opportunities and clients.
- Cold Calling and Networking: Engage in cold calling, email outreach, and networking to generate new business leads and expand the company’s client base.
- Sales Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Negotiation: Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with clients to close deals and achieve sales targets.
- Market Research: Continuously research industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics to identify potential business opportunities.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track sales activities and results, providing regular updates and reports on performance to management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (such as marketing, operations, and customer support) to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
