Job summary



We are seeking a skilled GeoSpatial Analyst with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Desktop Support and will work in a hybrid remote work model. This role involves analyzing geospatial data to support various projects and initiatives. The candidate will contribute to the companys purpose by providing valuable insights and solutions that impact society positively.

Responsibilities



- Analyze geospatial data to support various projects and initiatives.
- Provide desktop support to ensure smooth operation of geospatial software and tools.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and implement geospatial solutions.
- Utilize geospatial software to create maps reports and visualizations.
- Conduct data quality assessments to ensure accuracy and reliability of geospatial data.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of geospatial databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to geospatial software and hardware.
- Support remote users by providing technical assistance and guidance.
- Participate in project planning and execution to ensure timely delivery of geospatial products.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations and reports.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in geospatial technology.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of geospatial processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in all geospatial activities.

Qualifications



- Possess a bachelors degree in Geography GIS or a related field.
- Have 2 to 4 years of experience in geospatial analysis and desktop support.
- Demonstrate proficiency in geospatial software such as ArcGIS QGIS or similar.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Show excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Display attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Have experience in remote desktop support and troubleshooting.
- Be familiar with geospatial data formats and standards.
- Show a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Have a strong understanding of geospatial concepts and methodologies.
- Be capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Exhibit a customer-focused mindset and a dedication to providing high-quality support.

Certifications Required



Certified GIS Professional (GISP) or equivalent certification is preferred.
