Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join a renowned US based firm. This is an on site role based in Dubai, offering an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in bookkeeping and accounting (US/UK accounting practices, VAT filing, and corporate tax filing experience is a plus). The ideal candidate will have an experience using QuickBooks and/or FreshBooks and will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
Minimum of 7 years of experience working as a bookkeeper/accountant, with expertise in using QuickBooks or FreshBooks.
Solid understanding of accounting practices (VAT filing and corporate tax filing will be a plus)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
CA/ACCA Qualification is a plus.
