Job Description

The BMS Engineer plays a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Building Management Systems (BMS) within the security and fire systems industry. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure that buildings operate efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of BMS technologies and a passion for optimizing building performance. With a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience, the BMS Engineer will be responsible for various tasks that contribute to the overall functionality and reliability of building systems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement Building Management Systems for various projects.
  2. Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of BMS equipment.
  3. Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate BMS with fire and security systems.
  4. Provide technical support and training to staff and clients on BMS operations.
  5. Monitor and analyze system performance to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Prepare detailed documentation and reports on BMS installations and modifications.
  7. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to BMS.
  8. Assist in the development of project timelines and budgets.
  9. Participate in site inspections and commissioning of BMS systems.
  10. Stay updated on the latest BMS technologies and industry trends.
