BIM Specialist - MEP Systems

Responsibilities:Develop and maintain 3D models for MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and ELV) using software like Revit or AutoCAD MEP.Perform clash detection using tools like Navisworks to identify and resolve conflicts between systems.Coordinate with structural and architectural teams to ensure all systems fit seamlessly into the building design.Prepare detailed shop drawings, installation plans, and fabrication documents from BIM models.Ensure models comply with local regulations, project standards, and client requirements.Update BIM models during design and construction, including changes and as-built data.Extract material quantities and data from BIM models for procurement and scheduling.Attend coordination meetings to review progress and resolve issues.Maintain accurate and accessible BIM data for all project stakeholders.Create and manage BIM family libraries, templates, and workflows.Generate reports on model updates, clash detection, and project status.
