About the job BIM MODELER (STRUCTURAL/ARCHITECTURAL)
PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The purpose of the Architectural / Structural BIM Modeler job is to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and coordination of architectural and structural design and construction processes by utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology. The role bridges the gap between design, engineering, and construction by delivering detailed, data-rich 3D models that streamline project workflows.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain accurate Architectural and Structural BIM models in Revit.
- Model concrete, steel structures, and rebar RCC detailing with precision and adherence to project requirements.
- Create detailed models for ECC (Engineered Cement Concrete) elements, ensuring coordination with design teams.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate architectural and structural elements.
- Identify, document, and resolve clashes between architectural, structural, and MEP models.
- Develop steel structure models, rebar RCC details, and concrete designs with high-level accuracy.
- Produce LOD 400 level models suitable for construction documentation.
- Ensure that models meet project standards, specifications, and quality control measures.
- Follow and implement project-specific BIM standards, protocols, and workflows.
- Maintain model accuracy, consistency, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs from BIM models.
- Prepare detailed shop drawings and construction documentation for structural elements.
- Provide timely updates and revisions to models based on design changes or feedback.
- Support site and engineering teams by ensuring models align with construction processes and requirements.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in BIM modeling with a focus on architectural and structural elements.
- Expertise in Revit software for modeling and documentation.
- Strong experience in modeling: Concrete and steel structures, Rebar RCC detailing and ECC elements.
- Sound understanding ofBIM standards and workflows.
- Ability to coordinate effectively between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Proficiency in generating shop drawings, schedules, and construction-ready documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Immediate availability for deployment.
