Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced BIM Manager to join the Utilities on a rail project in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this pivotal role, you will lead the implementation and management of Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for rail infrastructure projects, with a focus on utilities integration.


  • Develop and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows for rail utility projects
  • Oversee the creation and management of 3D models for rail infrastructure and associated utility systems
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of utilities within rail projects
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of BIM deliverables
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to BIM team members
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to resolve design conflicts and optimize solutions
  • Ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and local regulations
  • Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings and generate progress reports
  • Stay updated on the latest BIM technologies and best practices in the rail sector

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in BIM management for rail projects
  • Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
  • Strong knowledge of rail infrastructure and utilities systems integration
  • BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk BIM Certification) is preferred
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing BIM standards and workflows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage teams and stakeholders
  • In-depth understanding of rail infrastructure design and construction processes
  • Experience working in the Middle East region is advantageous
  • Willingness to adapt to a dynamic work environment and travel as required
