Job Description
We are looking for a BIM Coordinator to join our company in the UAE.
We are a medium-sized theming, turnkey, design-build company with approximately 20 Design staff. Due to an influx of incoming projects in the region, we are seeking to strengthen our team with a skilled and motivated BIM Coordinator.
As a BIM Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the design and technical aspects of multiple projects. You will collaborate closely with the BIM Manager and the entire Design Team to ensure seamless design development, detailing, and production of deliverables. Your role will involve managing project workflows, maintaining documentation standards, and supporting the coordination efforts to meet project schedules.
- Job Description: Proactively coordinate with structural engineers, MEP consultants, building services engineers, and other sub-consultants or specialists as required.
- Collaborate with the Design Manager, BIM Manager, and Project Manager to ensure project success.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and maintain accountability for accuracy and quality of deliverables.
- Develop, manage, and review project documentation to meet production standards.
- Assist in creating and managing Revit models, project deliverables, and collaborative workflows.
Skills
Requirements:Experience:
- 3–6+ years post-qualification BIM work experience, with a minimum of 3 recent years in Revit for large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects.
- 3+ years of experience with BIM in Architectural projects is mandatory.
- Proficiency in preparing construction documentation using Revit.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Revit, BIM 360 (Document Management), and Navisworks.
- Expertise in Revit modeling from SD (Schematic Design) to IFC (Issued for Construction).
- Document Management in BIM 360, including linking and collaboration.
- Strong understanding of theming Revit modeling, including walls, windows, and doors.
- Ability to prepare sheets, tags, and related schedules.
- Verify accuracy and compliance of drawings with drafting standards.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively within a team.
