Lead the development and management of BIM models for architectural projects, ensuring accuracy, compliance with project requirements, and alignment with client needs.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate and coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models, ensuring seamless coordination across all project phases.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of BIM standards, processes, and protocols, ensuring adherence to company and industry best practices.
Create detailed 3D models and design documentation in BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.) and ensure models are fully coordinated across disciplines.
Develop and manage BIM execution plans (BEP) and assist in the development of project schedules related to BIM deliverables.
Perform clash detection, identify and resolve coordination issues, and ensure that potential problems are flagged and addressed early in the design process.
Manage and review BIM-related documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness of construction drawings, specifications, and model-based deliverables.
Conduct regular BIM model reviews with project teams and stakeholders, presenting progress updates, addressing issues, and ensuring that the models are aligned with project goals.
Provide training and support to junior BIM staff and other team members on BIM software and best practices.
Assist in the development of project-specific BIM strategies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for BIM-related processes and tools.
Work with project managers to ensure BIM workflows are aligned with project schedules, budgets, and deadlines
Key Qualifications :
Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a BIM Architect or in a similar BIM-related role within the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry.
Technical Expertise: Proficient in BIM software (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Dynamo, or similar tools).
Strong understanding of BIM processes, standards (e.g., ISO 19650), and coordination across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
Solid knowledge of architectural design and construction practices, building codes, and regulations.
Experience with model coordination, clash detection, and resolving design conflicts using BIM tools.
Familiarity with data management systems (e.g., BIM 360, Procore, or similar platforms) and project management tools.
Ability to develop and manage BIM execution plans (BEP) and BIM-related deliverables.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards in model development and documentation.
