Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Staff Management:

• Supervise salon staff (hairstylists, beauticians, receptionists, etc.).

• Schedule shifts and manage employee work hours.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance.

• Handle any personnel issues, conflicts, or complaints.

• Customer Service:

• Greet and assist clients, ensuring their needs are met and they have a pleasant experience.

• Resolve customer complaints and issues effectively.

• Promote services and products to clients.

• Ensure client satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.

• Salon Operations:

• Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the salon.

• Ensure proper hygiene and safety standards are maintained.

• Monitor inventory levels of products and supplies and ensure timely reordering.

• Manage the booking system, making sure appointments are scheduled efficiently.

• Financial Management:

• Assist with budgeting, controlling expenses, and increasing profitability.

• Promote sales of services and retail products to clients.

• Marketing & Client Relations:

• Develop promotional campaigns to attract new clients.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.

• Handle client inquiries and ensure follow-ups for future bookings.

• Health & Safety Compliance:

• Ensure all equipment is sanitized, and health and safety protocols are followed.

• Administrative Duties:

• Assist in developing and implementing salon policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (some may require a degree or certification in cosmetology or business management).

• Proven experience in the beauty industry, preferably in a supervisory role.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

• Knowledge of salon equipment, products, and services.

• Customer-focused with strong problem-solving abilities.
