As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

• Prepare and serve beverages. Craft a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including classic cocktails, signature mixes, and innovative concoctions.
• Guest interaction. Engage with guests, providing recommendations and personalized service to enhance their experience.
• Menu development. Collaborate with the team to design and update the beverage menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and trends.
• Inventory management. Monitor and manage bar inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing waste.
• Bar setup and cleanliness. Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring all equipment is in working order.
• Compliance. Adhere to all health, safety, and alcohol regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both guests and staff.
• Cash handling. Manage transactions accurately, balancing the cash register and handling payments
• Training and mentoring. Guide and train junior bar staff, fostering a collaborative and professional team environment.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a bartender, with expertise in mixology.
• Mixology skills: Strong knowledge of cocktail recipes, spirits, and beverage trends.
• Customer service: Excellent interpersonal skills with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences
• Creativity. Ability to innovate and create unique drinks that reflect the brand’s style.
• Attention to detail: Strong focus on presentation, taste, and consistency in every drink served.
• Time management: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality service.
• Team player: Collaborative attitude with the ability to work well with others in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of regulations: Familiarity with local alcohol laws and safety regulations.
• Certification: Relevant certifications in bartending and mixology are preferred.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
