What you will do


  • Assist the Executive Chef and Banquet Chef in planning and executing banquet menus, focusing on western cuisine and culinary trends.


  • Supervise and train banquet kitchen staff, ensuring they follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures.


  • Coordinate with the banquet service team to ensure timely food delivery and excellent guest satisfaction during events.


  • Monitor food costs, inventory, and waste, maintaining an efficient and cost-effective operation.


  • Collaborate with the sales and events teams to develop customized banquet menus and offerings tailored to client preferences.


What you bring


  • A culinary degree or diploma, with a strong background in western cuisine and banquet or high-volume all-day dining operations.


  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role within a luxury hotel or resort environment.


  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage and train a diverse kitchen team.


  • Creativity and adaptability in designing and executing a variety of banquet menus, incorporating local ingredients and culinary trends.
