Job Description
  • The CVP team is responsible to drive and enable strategic and tactical initiatives to enable enhanced customer experience and value for GPB and FAB internal stakeholders and external clients.
  • The team delivery expectation is to own and drive key projects and initiatives with a degree of autonomy/ escalating or drawing from the team or from subject matter experts’ support, as required.
  • Primary focus of this role is to drive, enable and deliver specific enhancements with the GPB Value Proposition - through strategic and tactical planning, facilitation, project management and managing and coordinating strategic projects and tactical initiatives

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Strategic Project Delivery Ensuring the delivery of strategic initiatives/ projects to meet objectives, outcomes and project benefits. Supporting on the following items:


  • Lead and Plan Strategic Projects/ Programmes
  • Facilitate planning/ project outcomes - “make it happen”
  • Build Business Case and BCD - Budget / Estimates / Projections/ Benefits
  • Secure Approvals [internal/ external/ BCD/ Budgets etc]
  •  Manage and Coordinate Delivery
  • Identify and Manage Risk and Issues
  • Report on Project Status and Delivery

Change Management/ Communication and Training


Tactical Enhancements


Conducting and supporting analysis and delivery of Internal and External Requirements – which may relate to Regulations / Process / Procedures/ business issues -


  • Conduct detailed analysis of data/ information/ documentation as required to support business enhancements
  • Support, Manage and provide solutions to help resolve business issues
  • Provide support to plan and find solutions to close audit points related to PB Business activity
  •  Define and Analyse Root Cause (RCA)
  • Develop ideas, solutions and options to improve the CV

Reporting and Documentation


Help develop PPT/ Excel/ or Word documentation for reporting for various purposes 


  • Specific topics where we need to analyze/ or “Deep dive” / (Change Acceleration Process) CAP Analysis
  • Update and report on CVP Projects tracker or Specific Project status
  • EPB and Strategic Projects Reporting

Stakeholder Relationship Management


Manage and maintain productive stakeholder relationships to achieve project and business outcomes and productivity


  • Create and maintain productive stakeholder relationships on an ongoing basis
  • Escalate issues as they arise with respective stakeholders
  • Facilitate and enable stakeholder activity, as required
  • Keep aware / Inform the right team/ stakeholders wrt risks, new requirements or dependencies

Learning and Development


Maintain up to date knowledge and skills relating to the GPB and FAB business, projects, topics and industry:


  • Know the Business; Know the Systems; Acronyms; People.
  •  Maintain knowledge of industry and economic changes and developments
  • Maintain knowledge of technological developments related to financial services, digital assets, artificial intelligence and other disruptive changes
  • Ongoing skills development via FAB/ or external development opportunities

Qualifications
  •  Minimum 6yrs experience in Banking/ Private Banking .
  • Minimum 5yrs experience in managing Projects and Programmes in Banking/ Private Banking/ Fintech or related environments.
  • Degree/ or Post Grad Degree Qualified
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to influence stakeholders productively and build trust
  •  Solution oriented
  • Ability to multi-task and priorities.
  •  Ability to cope with volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous circumstances.
  • Ability to quickly synthesise complex information and package/ present for understanding.
  •  Strong proficiency with Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint
