As an Automotive Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in Tesla vehicles. This role requires a deep understanding of automotive electrical systems, diagnostic tools, and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on electric vehicles using Tesla-specific tools and equipment.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electric vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Repair and replace vehicle components, including batteries, motors, inverters, and electronic control units.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues in Tesla vehicles.
Install, repair, and replace electrical components such as batteries, alternators, starters, wiring harnesses, and lighting systems.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on Tesla vehicles.
Replace or repair faulty components, including batteries, motors, inverters, and other electrical systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot vehicle issues.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree or certificate in automotive technology or a related field preferred.
ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is a plus.
Previous experience as an Electrical Technician with a strong experience working with Tesla vehicles.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software for vehicle repairs.
